Casual Day is no longer observed. Casual Day is a major affiliate fund-raiser. June 16th definitely was a brighter day for Cerebral Palsy in 2002. An estimated two thousand employees in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties sported casual and bright clothes to benefit United Cerebral Palsy.

Over 500 workers wore yellow tee-shirts with a sunny "Making Things Brighter" theme. These supporters made larger contributions in order to obtain the shirts. Casual Day tee-shirts, as part of the program for its tenth year, proved to be especially popular this year.
