ONLINE FORUM: AGING AND CEREBRAL PALSY

This forum is scheduled for April 30, 2003 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM EST. It will be hosted by Mr. David Bauer and Dr. Murray Goldstein, two of the most knowledgable persons in the world regarding the topic.

David Bauer,M.A.,M.B.A., is a research associate at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Center for Health and Disability Research. He has over 20 years experience in designing, researching, and disseminationing reports, policy studies, and advocacy programs for people with disabilities. David served as consultant on Aging and Cerebral Palsy which drafted a research agenda for Congress.

Murray Goldstein,D.O.,M.P.H. is director of the United Cerebral Palsy Education And Research Foundation. Previously, he was Assistant Surgeon General in the U.S. Public Health Services and Director of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Goldstein is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, The American Heart Association (stroke council), the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, and the American Public Health Association (epidemiology).

The forum can be visited in advance and early comments and questions can be posted in advance and are welcome. Also, you can visit a previous forum on the topic which was conducted several years ago and is archived. Be sure to set you preferences to 30 months to retrieve the previuos forum.
