Mr. Watson, who has a masters degree in social work, has cerebral palsy and has been kindly described as the "Dr. Ruth of disability." He is known for his realism and practicality. Dateable is an international online organization with over 200 members in the Washington, D.C. area. It emphasizes "friendship first" and its main purpose is to break social isolation. Aside from the being a singles group, it runs Ms. Wheelchair of Maryland and Making Connections for teens with mental retardation.
