Join Robert Watson on JUNE 4th from 2:00 to 5:00 EST in the afternoon for an informative session. You might want to invite friends and professionals to join in. Robert Watson, executive director of dateable, will discuss issues of dating, friendship, relationships and sexuality. Mr. Watson, who has a masters degree in social work, has cerebral palsy and has been kindly described as the "Dr. Ruth of disability." He is known for his realism and practicality. Dateable is an international online organization with over 200 members in the Washington, D.C. area. It emphasizes "friendship first" and its main purpose is to break social isolation. Aside from the being a singles group, it runs Ms. Wheelchair of Maryland and Making Connections for teens with mental retardation. Its web address is www.dateable.org Robert Watson, who has appeared on the Jerry Springer Show with his wife of 8 years, is prepared for a no holds barred session.
